Music Program

The 5th & 6th grade music program will be held Tuesday, March 8th at 7:00 pm in the gym. Students will be allowed in the classroom no earlier than 6:45.

Friday, January 14th News

Just a heads up... On Friday, January 14th the Awards Assembly for grades 3-6 will be held at 9:30 am in the Ellison Gym. Following the Awards Assembly will be the Spelling Bee for grades 5 & 6 at 10:30 am. Hope to see you there!!

Welcome Back!

I hope everyone had a joyous holiday and a great end to the year 2010. As we ring in 2011, I look forward to continuing to teach and build a relationship with your child. I hope everyone's ready to get back into the swing of things and have an outstanding 2nd semester!

Burger King Night, Early Dismissal & Picture Re-Takes

Just a reminder that Monday, November 8th is Burger King Night from 5-7. Mrs. Reed and Mrs. Miller will be working.

Early dismissal Thursday, November 11th in recognition of Veteran's Day. 

Picture re-takes will be Friday, November 12th.

Fall Parties

The Fall Halloween Party will be held on Friday, October 29th. The children will participate in a costume parade starting at 2:00 pm in the gym.  Classroom parties will be held after the parade.

The room parents have asked for donations of candy or money in order to put together a treat bag for each child.  There are 26 students in 5 Burgess.

Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week is the week of Oct. 25th - 29th. 

• Monday - Put drugs to bed! - Wear your pajamas.
• Tuesday - Team up on drugs! - Wear your jersey/team sport shirt.
• Wednesday - Be brave, don't use drugs! - Wear Ellison gear.
• Thursday - Don't get mixed up with drugs! - Wear mix-matched clothing.
• Friday - Say "Boo" to drugs! - Wear Halloween costume.

Arrow Club Tutoring

Arrow Club tutoring will be held on Tuesday and Thursday, October 12th and 14th.  Please make sure you have your child picked up at the front door by 4:40.
